Yintab group of schools started as a Nursery and Primary school in Shogunle, Lagos, on 8th January, 1990. The school was founded by Babafemi Adesina Badejo and Adejumoke Badejo. Both of the founders were involved in teaching at different levels of education in Nigeria at that time. They saw the downward trend in the standard of education in Nigeria and the inadequacy of facilities for many children, especially in the depressed areas of Lagos. The schools have since grown to include another Nursery and Primary School and co-ed secondary school in Ikorodu, Lagos.
